busted.systems is a small collective of software hackers with a few shared values:

  • Prefer the concise solution - "What's simplest thing that could work?"
  • Prefer the standards-based solution - "How can this thing play well with others?"
  • Prefer the mature solution to the shiny new thing - "This problem has been solved before"

Minimalism and flexibility aren't original ideas. We owe much to the Unix design philosophy and draw inspiration from like-minded folks such as suckless.org and Plan 9.

We have a blog to document things we find and make. The blog tries always to be helpful and positive.

We maintain a few projects:

We contribute to several others like dyncall and gentoo.
